Why use a clothing subscription?

We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of clothing. Rental schemes are one of the ways in which we are developing a circular textile economy, keeping garments in use for longer and reducing waste generated by fashion.

Choosing a subscription bundle instead of buying your maternity clothing offers you great value for money and the convenience to have what you need when you need, without worrying about what happens to the clothes afterwards. You can gently wash the garments you rent and use them as frequently as you’d like with peace of mind as minor wear and tear are included in our insurance.

Items returned to us are screened for damage, cleaned according to need (including in our eco-friendly Ozone room and steamed) and listed as available for other mamas-to-be. Our Ozone room blasts garments with ozone gas, killing bacteria and viruses whilst gently pulling any other matter from the fibres. The ozone is destroyed within the chamber before the door can be opened and the clothing retrieved. There are no chemicals involved in the process, making it suitable for sensitive skin and those with allergies.

In addition, we run our Subscription service from our own warehouse which is powered by 100% low-impact renewable energy and because we recycle so well, we are a Zero Waste company. All items ship in recycled paper packaging that is completely plastic-free, biodegradable and recyclable. You can keep this packaging to use for returns.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Subscription Period
All subscription bundles are automatically charged on a monthly basis and self-renewing. Payment is made in advance and charged on same day of every month. Subscription period shall commence from when you first confirm the items in your bundle and shall continue until service has been cancelled and items are dropped off with a postage carrier (proof must be obtained).

Swapping items in bundle
Depending on your subscription bundle, you are entitled to swap one or more garments once a month, which aims to provide customers with a flexible service that takes into consideration seasonality and a growing bump. To swap an item for another or request a different size, please contact our Customer Service team. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the item(s) sent back are clean, appropriately packaged and that a collection is arranged in a timely manner. Failure to return item(s) within given timeframe and garments returned in poor condition may result in added charges – please refer to Damages and Returns and cancellation for more. New item(s) will not be dispatched to you until the item(s) you are returning are received by the Isabella Oliver team.

Purchasing Option
Should you wish to keep one or more items in your bundle you may contact our Customer Service team, who will inform you of the price of item(s). Price of items from our subscription bundles will vary depending on, but not limited to, cost of item, condition of garment and season.

Making changes to your subscription bundle
If you wish to made changes to your bundle, including changing from one bundle to another, request swaps, changing payment details or delivery details, please contact our Customer Service team at
theteam@isabellaoliver.com or on 0344 844 0448. Please ensure that you request changes at least 10 days before your payment is taken for the following month to avoid surcharges in service.

Delivery
Delivery is made via our normal carriers in our normal timeframes. Standard or Express is available. Please visit our delivery page for more information about estimated delivery and arrival times. Any delivery time or date given by Isabella Oliver to the User is an estimate only. If the item is delivered late you must accept delivery unless a non-delivery agreement is reached in advance between Isabella Oliver and yourself.

Returns and cancellation
Fees are non-refundable except as expressly set forth below.
(i) Cancellation: orders can be cancelled free of charge before dispatch. Please contact customer services to do this as soon as possible – most orders are dispatched within one hour of receiving the order. Once orders are dispatched please see section (ii).
(ii) Return without wear: If the size of your product is not right or in the unlikely event of the product being faulty, then you may exchange the product within 48 hours (excluding Sundays and holidays) of the date you received the product by contacting customer services, and we will send you a replacement size or product at no extra cost, subject to availability.
Please be considerate when returning items, keep the boxes if possible to then return to us, carefully sealed – we suggest using paper tape. You can alternatively reuse any box that is clean and properly sealed. Free returns are available via My Hermes or Collect Plus, or you may use an alternative carrier at your own expense.

Late fees
If you return the Product(s) late, a late fee of £20 will be charged for every day (and for every item) that you are late returning the Product(s), beyond the agreed return date, to the payment card you used to pay the Rental Fee or to any other payment card included in your account information that you have provided to Isabella Oliver. You agree to pay such late fees, not to exceed 100% of the Retail Value, as indicated on the Product(s) page. If you have not returned the Product(s) within ten (10) working days after the return date for the Product(s), your late return will be considered a non-return and Isabella Oliver will charge your payment card the Retail Value, minus any fees already incurred in the prior ten (10) days.

Damage
Subscription fees are inclusive of limited insurance which insures against minor mishaps through normal wear and tear, but not significant damage beyond normal wear and tear, loss or theft.
Normal wear and tear encompasses minor stains, rips, missing beads, stuck zippers or other minor damage. However you are solely responsible for loss, destruction or damage to the Products due to theft, mysterious disappearance, fire, major stains or any other cause, other than normal wear and tear. Regardless of whether you are personally responsible for the damage, you remain liable for the repair or replacement of this item because in accepting your delivery you agreed to take responsibility for the apparel.
If you return a Product that is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, as determined by Isabella Oliver in its sole discretion, or evidences recklessness or carelessness with respect to your possession or use of the Product, then you agree that we shall charge you, and you shall pay, for the price of repairing or replacing the Product, as determined in our discretion, up to the Retail Value for the Product.
You may not have any Products tailored or otherwise altered. This would constitute damage beyond repair and the full Retail Value of the Product will be charged to your card.

Limits
Isabella Oliver reserves the right to limit the number of items that a customer may rent at any time, including but not limited to restricting orders placed under a single customer account, payment card or billing or shipping address. We reserve the right to limit, cancel or prohibit any rentals of products for any reason at our sole discretion, including but not limited to availability and geographic concerns.

Cleaning
Subscription items will be screened with the utmost care by our team and cleaned accordingly, which includes being sanitized in our eco-friendly Ozone Room and steamed.
Use of the Product is at your own risk and Isabella Oliver shall not be held liable for any health-related complaints associated with any Product.
We understand that during your subscription period you are likely to want to wear pieces more than once and feel the need to clean them. Please follow instructions on our Wear, Care & Repair page carefully, when possible spot cleaning or gently handwashing. Please DO NOT attempt to clean any outerwear or leather items.
Isabella Oliver reserves the right to invoice for part or full replacement value of the items and charge you the full amount of any potential lost earnings or incurred costs regardless of whether any damage has been caused.
